NOTES:

There will be daily homework each night. Please sit with your child and assist them with the directions and any mistakes that they might make. Each week there will be a memory verse that the students are responsible for memorizing. They will then orally say the verse to me in class on Friday.

Fall fundraiser will last until September 22. Good luck.

Wish List: I am always in need of items for the Treasure chest, pencil, erasers, small toys, small books, etc. Anyone who may have a nice banker’s box for a Treasure chest, let me know.

Tuesday, September 16 is Vision Screening. It is a very good idea to have your child’s vision tested here at school. It is a different type of screening that does not occur normally at a pediatrician’s office. Please fill out the form in the Bull’s Eye and turn it in by tomorrow if you are interested.

Hoe Down is October 3, Family Fellowship night. Be looking for a flyer in the Bull’s Eye.

November 2, 2008 will be the date for the Kindergarteners to sing in church. More information to follow.

Have your child make a play dough model of his or her hand and bring it to class by Friday.
Next Friday, March 21, is the end of the Trimester. It will be a 11:45 am dismissal and also Good Friday.
Easter week will be March 31 to April 4. No school that week.
Achievement Tests will start on Tuesday April 8th. It is very important that dentist appointments or any other appointments are scheduled in the afternoon. Testing will be in the morning.
Field Day is April 24 here on campus. We are very excited about this event and happy that it will be here.
