PACKERS MOVE UP TO 2ND PLACE
Green Bay has now won 3 games on the road this year as they beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-17. Brett Farve completed 24 of 42 passes for 347 yards and 2 TDs and no interceptions. Green Bay also had more 1st downs (16-14), total yards, (394-312), passing yards, (347-222A), and time of possession, (33:39 to 26:21), than the Vikings. The one thing Green Bay must improve on is scoring TD’s once in the red zone. In this game, the Pack stalled twice and had to attempt FG’s. Let’s catch the ball and score, Pack! Next week, it’s the NE Patriots at Lambeau.

SPORTS:
TURNOVERS COST PACKERS A WIN
Green Bay had 429 total yards to 128 for Buffalo yesterday. However, Buffalo had 0 turnovers, Green Bay had 4, not good. The last turnover resulted in a 14 point swing and proved to be the game breaker. With the score just 17-10 Buffalo, the Pack had 1st and goal on the 2 yard line. Brett threw immediately to Donald Driver who let the ball bounce off his hands up in the air into the hands of a Buffalo defender, who then ran for 72 years before Brett slowed him down. Three plays later the score was 24-10, game over. Next week, the Pack takes on the Vikings who lost to the 49er’s yesterday.
