No homework. It is Ash Wednesday.
Thursday:
Do math sheet and read “Fossils tell of Long Ago”. Tests on spelling, memory and comprehension are on Friday.

REMINDERS:
1. Wednesday is February 13. Services are at 3:30, and 7:00.
2. You will be receiving a permission slip for a field trip to the Marine Institute in May. Please return that quickly.
3. HELP! All the students need more white and tacky glue. Please send some in for your child, ASAP. Extras are appreciated.
4. Sign ups for treats for the Valentine’s Party, February 14, are on the classroom door. All donations are appreciated.
5. There has been a changed and the 2nd Graders WILL NOT be doing Chapel this week. I will let you know when it is rescheduled.
6. The 2nd Graders will sing on Wednesday at the 3:30 pm Lenten Service. Please try to attend. All voices are needed.

Dear Parents and Students,
I want to thank all of you for the absolutely wonderful party for my birthday on January 28. That sure was a delicious cake. The cards were super and so creative. I truly will enjoy my Islands (my husband and I love going there) and the very cute penguin!!!!!!!!!!!!
