Have your child write about snow. What do they like about snow and what don’t they like about snow. If they have never seen snow, talk to them about what it looks like, texture, etc.

REMINDERS:

1.January 29h is no school due to Parent/Teacher conferences. These conferences are optional. Sign up sheet will be on the door.

2.Open House for next year’s registration is February 6, Saturday.

3.Wish List – if any one has any duplicate pictures of the Halloween party, thanks giving Feast and Christmas party, I would love them.

4.This week, the kids began to write independently in class. Your child is learning to sound out words using their knowledge of letter sounds. Continue to encourage your child to write at home in order to continue developing a love of writing and good skills. If they do not spell the words correctly, that is okay. The important part is that they are learning the parts of words, spacing and punctuation. Praise your child for being a good writer.

5.Book orders are due January 22.
